The word Arizona has left a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of Americans. From the immigration "Show me your papers Law.." to the tragic Tucson shootings. Arizona, the word has a hard time. So maybe this will help, next time you think of Arizona, think about the beauty of Arizona and how in the midst of HUMAN craziness, there is everlasting beauty.

A LATIN LOVE STORY

Did you know, that chiles rellenos from Guatemala are different than the Mexican chiles rellenos?
Guatemalan chiles rellenos are basically, stuffed chilies, normally bell peppers and jalapeƱos or others, depending on what season holds. We used poblano, the Mexican chili of choice, for a little Latin collaboration.

Guatemalan rellenos are stuffed with a mixture of minced meat( We used local grass fed ground sirloin), carrots, haricots verts (green beans) and other spices,covered in an egg batter, and fried.

Fresh home-made red chili sauce, some steamed rice, a folk and my appetite, is all you need.
